Obituary

CONROE - Gary Brymer, 60, formerly of Plainview, passed away in Conroe, Texas, on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Gary was born Aug. 26, 1950. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Willard and Pearl Brymer of Plainview; a brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Mary, of Houston; a son Shane, and his wife, Veronica; and granddaughter, Cheyann, of Conroe, Texas; and ex-wife and lifelong friend, Claudette Brymer Johnson, also of Conroe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Cranford, and half-brother, Robert Cranford. The family will receive visitors from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, in Plainview Memorial Park with Dr. Gene Perry officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.kornerstonefunerals.com.
