Bryant, Harry Ray

Funeral services for Harry Ray Bryant, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at 9th and Columbia Church of Christ with Colquitt Nash, minister, officiating.

Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Bryant died at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday July 23, 2003, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from Slaton High School and Texas Tech University. In 1953, he moved to New Mexico and to Plainview in 1964.

He was past president of West Texas Ag-Chemical Association. He worked as an ag-chemical salesman, retiring in 1990. He also was farm director at KKYN Radio several years ago.

He was a member and former deacon at North and Columbia Church of Christ.

On May 25, 1950, he married Coleen Baldwin in Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Trudy Kelley of Llano, six sons, Ray Bryant of State College, Pa., Wayne Bryant of Sweetwater, Gary Bryant of Epworth, Ga., Bill Bryant of Fayetteville, Ark., Kelley Bryant of Monticello, Ark., and Keith Bryant of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters Jessalu Lorck of Brandy and Azalee Womack of Cross Plains, 19 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
