Brown, James Raymond (Ray), Mrs (Faye Udell Williams)

Graveside services for Faye Udell Brown, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Plainview Memorial Park with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.

She was born June 14, 1916, in Star and moved to Plainview with her parents in 1924. She graduated from Plainview High School and sttended Lippert's Business College. She later worked for Southwestern Public Servie and Montgomery Ward. She had been a resident of Santa Fe House and Prairie House Living Center.

She married James Raymond Brown in 1953 in San Diego, Calif. He died Aug.23, 2003.

Survivos include a niece and her husband, Emy and Bill Deardorf of Plainview; a great-nephew and his wife, Bert and Lanelle Deardorf of Austin; and a great-great-niece, Lauren Emily Deardorf of Austin.

Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
