Obituary

Graveside services for Nila Roberts Brown, 83, formerly of Plainview, were at 2 p.m. today in Plainview Cemetery with Kirby Joe Hagler officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home Mrs. Brown, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, in a nursing center in Marshall. She was born Feb. 26, 1922, to James Arthur and Neoma Francis Taylor Provadore in Floydada. She married Joe W. Roberts on March 9, 1941, in Oklahoma. He died in 1963. She married J.D. Brown in May 1965. He died in July 1986. Survivors include two sons, Joel Dale Roberts of Boyd and Jerry Arland Roberts of Marshall; a daughter, Joy Roberts Darr of Mesquite; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
