Obituary

Funeral services for Cora Wigley Brown, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Ritter, pastor of Seth Ward Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in Plainview Healthcare Center. She was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Wallville, Okla. She was a homemaker and did indoor and outdoor gardening. She was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Buddy Charles Brown of Silverton and Lonnie Claude Brown of Plainview; one daughter, Rosa Lee Anderson of Plainview; two sisters, Alma Nowlin of Plainview and Della Wigley of Hollis, Okla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
