Obituary

Funeral Mass for Antonio Santos "Tony" Briseno, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mr. Briseno died Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, N.M. He was born Oct. 11, 1950, in Happy to Prilino and Trinie Briseno. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Belia "Belle" Briseno of Hale Center; his mother, Trinie Briseno of Hale Center; three daughters, April Ceniceros of Plainview, Jennie Perez of Albuquerque, N.M., and Erica Briseno of Oklahoma; two sons, Ralph Briseno of Oklahoma and Joe Mike Briseno of Amarillo; a brother, Mike Briseno of Amarillo; three sisters, Isabel Almendarez, Trinie Briseno and Alvina Briseno; and six grandchildren. His father is deceased.
