Obituary

LaVerne K. Brazele, 85, of Plainview passed away on September 15, 2008 in Decatur. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Plainview Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Mrs. Brazele was born on September 30, 1922 in Roosevelt, OK to Fred and Eudora Thurman. She moved to Olton at age 5. She married James W. Brazele on May 11, 1946. They made their home in Plainview until May 2006. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Plainview.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennie Brazele of Duncan, OK and Susan & Roger Boswell of Decatur, TX; one granddaughter, Jena K. Carter of Ward, AR and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brazele in 2007 and a grandson Brandon Fudge.
