Bradley, Walter Leo

Funeral services for Walter Leo Bradley, 69, of Hale Center, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Rger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Bradley died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born March 22, 1934, in Texola, Okla. He grew up in Silverton where he attended schools. He lived in Sand Hill, Hart and Floydada before moving to Hale Center in 1983.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Hale County Precinct 3 for many years, retiring in 1994. He was a Baptist.

On Nov. 6, 1981, he married Charlene Walls in Floydada. She died Jan. 2000.

Survivors include three stepdaughters, Betty Harcrow of Austin, Peggy Lankford of Lubbock and Gracie Brown of Plainview; two brothers, Buck Bradley of Hale Center and Bobby Bradley of Kress; a sister, Janie Smith of Floydada; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a niece, Ann Widick of Dimmitt; and a special friend, Leroy Graham.

The family suggest memorials to Make A Wish Foundation or a favorite charity.
