Obituary

Funeral services for Lonnie L. Bradley, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mr. Bradley died at 3:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at his residence. He was born Oct. 28, 1939, in Olustee, Okla. He attended Panhandle State University at Goodwell, Okla., where he played football. He moved to Plainview and attended Lippert?s Business College. He owned and operated Bulldog 66 Service Station and was a real estate broker. He was a pilot and operated Agri Aero Spraying Service for more than 25 years, spraying area towns for mosquitoes and fields for farmers. He was a member of the Plainview Airport Board and College Heights
Baptist Church where he was a member of the Don Cook Sunday School Class. On June 28, 1959, he married Kay Nell Popejoy in Hart. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jill Wolfington of Austin; a son, Logan Bradley of Columbus, Ohio; his mother and father, Myrl and Vanita Bradley of Plainview; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Morgan and Haleigh Wolfington and London Bradley. A sister, Sharon Motley, is deceased. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to College Heights Baptist Church or VistaCare Family Hospice of Plainview.
