Obituary

Marie Braddock, 78, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Trinity Fellowship with the Rev. Steve Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Marie was born on June 19, 1935, to Banner and Vada Reese in Comanche County. She married Kenneth Braddock on July 9, 1953, in Roswell, N.M. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Plainview; one daughter, Belinda Renee Cobb and husband Robert of Bedford, Texas; one son, Robert "Danny" Daniel Braddock of Plainview, Texas; one brother, Gerald Keith of Alvarado, Texas; one sister, Martha Whitner of Chickasha, Okla.; three grandchildren, Jason McPherson, Brooklyn Braddock and Austin Cleveland; and one great-granddaughter, Sidney McPherson.
