PLAINVIEW - Traci Lyn Box, 17, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Ms. Box was born in Plainview. She recently finished her junior year at Plainview High School. She was a member of the PHS a cappella choir and obtained a blue belt in karate. She attended College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Jacqueline Ulmer of Plainview; her father, Eldon Box of Flomot; a sister, Michelle Monroe of Plainview; two brothers, Jose Box of Plainview and Michael Box of Providence; and grandmother, Mildred Favor of Blanco.
