Obituary

Richard Bothwell, 86, died on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Trinity Life Church with Gary Paige and Steve Martinez officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, from 4-5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Bothwell was born on March 14, 1929, to Glen and Lora Bothwell. He married Katie Rose Gneiser on July 2, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Kay Bothwell of Plainview; three sons, Doyle Bothwell and wife Darlyne of Plainview, Bobby Bothwell and wife Freddie Jean of Plainview and Gregg Bothwell and wife Melissa of Lubbock, Texas; and four grandchildren, Blake Bothwell, Cristen Bothwell, Katie Jill Payne and husband Austin, and Morgan Bothwell.
