Obituary

Thomas Botello, 21, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Plainview First Assembly with the Rev. Nelson Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas was born on March 29, 1994, to Manuel and Norma Botello in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 2012. He graduated from South Texas Vocational Technical Institute in May of 2015. He worked for Mission Restaurant Supply, PSSI and for Jake Ramirez. Thomas is preceded in death by grandparents Tomas and Maria DeLaLuz Botello; one aunt, San Juana Licerio-Deleon; one uncle, Juan De Dios Botello; and a cousin: Juan Botello Jr. He is survived by his father: Manuel Botello of Plainview; his mother: Norma Botello of San Antonio; two sisters, Criselda Menchaca and husband Raul of Plainview and Claudia Botello of Plainview; his grandparents, Manuel and Hortencia Licerio of Plainview; his nephew, J'Vre Jordan Menchaca of Plainview; and one niece, Jaecie Myles Menchaca of Plainview.
