Obituary

Thomas was the son of Rev. Joseph and Martha Rebecca Heffington Bond. Thomas came to Texas from Missouri with his family after the Civil War and settled in San Augustine. He married Nancy Isabella Horn in San Augustine County on 31 May 1866. They moved to Oklahoma sometime after 1880. By 1910 they were in Wheeler County, TX, and later in Hale County. The Kellys had seven children: Joseph Ransom, Nancy Isabella, Elizabeth Tuck, Thomas, Jr., William Henry, Rebecca M. and Frank Shutt. Thomas and Nancy both died of Pneumonia within two days of each other.
