Funeral services for Zella Mae Belton, 101, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bartley Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Ron Huckeby officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bolton died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, in Valley Comfort Assisted Living in Modesto, Calif.
She was born Nov. 10, 1902, on a farm east of Hale Center, the fourth of 11 children of William and Mary Burton, Hale County pioneers. She moved with her family to the Ellen community and when she was a teenager moved with her family to the Happy Union community where she attended school.
She was a homemaker, loved farming, gardening, piecing quilts and playing the piano. She moved to California in 1997.
On Oct. 19, 1920, she maried Jason Bolton. He died in 1966.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and Robert Dow of Modesto Calif.; three grandchildren, Barbara Barrick of Santa Clarita, Calif., Robert Dow Jr., of Sacramento, Calif., and Janet Hoffman of Redmond, Ore.; 11 great-grandhildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
A younger sister, Gladys Davidson, died Jan. 16, 2004. Her parents, five other sisters and four brothers also are deceased.
The family will recieve friends at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to a favorite church or charity.
