Funeral services for Larry Lane Boedeker, 54, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Mark?s Episcopal Church with the Rev. James A. Mock Sr., officiating.
Burial will be in a Plainview cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mr. Boedeker died at 6:39 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.
He was born Feb. 27, 1944, in Plainview. He attended schools in Providence and graduated from Lockney High School and Texas Tech University. He worked as a federal bank examiner from 1968 to 1974 and farmed in the Providence Community from 1975 to 1998 when he became a lead base paint inspector from 1997 to 1998. He was an organ donor.
He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and St. Mark?s Episcopal Church where he was a former vestry member and former senior warden.
On July 14, 1968, he married Pat Thompson in Plainview.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kryl Boedeker of Lubbock; a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Chris Outen of Arlington; a sister, Foncine Carthel of Plainview; two brothers, Cecil Boedeker of Lockney and Merlin Boedeker of Bedford.
