Boatman, Harold E. (Hap)

AMARILLO ? Memorial services for Harold E. ?Hap? Boatman, 57, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Wesley Drive United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jacklyn McNeil of the church and the Rev. Terry Atkins of St. Olaf Lutheran Church officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Monday by School Funeral Home.

Mr. Boatman died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000.

He was born in Plainview and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired as a staff sergeant after 20 years in the Air Force. He was a Baptist. He married Glennda Atkins on Sept. 22, 1997 in Amarillo.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Tina Marie Betz of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Lisa Ann Mark of Amarillo; his father, Howard Boatman of Plainview; and three grandchildren.

Two brothers and a sister are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Our Father?s House, care of City Church in Amarillo.
