Obituary

Funeral services for Angela E. Benavides, 75, formerly of Ralls, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at True Vine Pentecostal in Plainview with the Rev. Alberto Camino, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are with Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Benavides died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in Covenant Medical Center Lubbock. She was born March 23, 1933, in Saginaw, Mich. She married Pete Benavides on March, 11, 1995, in San Antonio. She was a member of True Vine Pentecostal Church. Survivors include her husband; one son, Steve Serrato of Saginaw, Mich.; three daughters, Debbie Gonzales, Audrey Rendon and Patricia Fitchett, all of Saginaw, Mich.; many brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her son, Santiago Serrato, is deceased.
