Obituary

Funeral services for Jim Belyeu, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Butch Waller of Hart officiating and the Rev. Randy Santiago and the Rev. Manuel Rodriguez assisting. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Belyeu died Friday, April 4, 2008, in Plainview. He was born Jan. 18, 1943, in Gorman to the late Barney and Edith Belyeu. He moved to Sundown in 1949, to Amarillo in 1963 and to Plainview in 1980. He married Patricia Skinner on June 7, 1979, in Amarillo. He was manager of Marsh Electric in Plainview for 40 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Texas Chiefs Model Airplane Club, the Elks Club and the Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; one son, Jerry Don Bronner of Steamboat, Colo.; one daughter, Deborah Diane Adkins of Plainview; one brother, Bob Belyeu of Lexington; one sister, Bonnie Marsh of Breckenridge; and two grandchildren. Family visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Plainview Area Care Hospice or First Assembly of God Church in Plainview.
