Obituary

William Johnson Beck was the son of William Littleton Johnson Beck who died in the Civil War July 1, 1863, his mother was Mary Almira Barron Beck. Mary married Aaron Burr Lott son of Toliver Lott and Jane "Jensie" (Telford) Lott, in Carroll County, Mississippi in 1865. The Beck children were raised by Aaron Lott and Mary. Mary and William Littleton Johnson Beck had four children, and Mary and Aaron were the parents of four Lott children.

The Lott family came from Mississippi to Texas and settled in Coryell County, Texas.
William married Mary Lulu Tonahill, January 1, 1884 in Whitney, Hill County, Texas. They were the parents of eight children. William Johnson Beck, died in Northwest Hospital, in Amarillo, Texas from Heart Disease.
