Obituary

Helen Bearden, 76, of Plainview, died on Thursday, Nove. 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Dan Wisecup of Lubbock officiating, with Marilynn Frye of Amarillo and Brian Jagielski of Lubbock assisting. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Helen was born on Nov. 25, 1936, to Ralph and Bonnie Bryan in Happy, Texas. She married Kent Bearden on Dec. 12, 1960, in Amarillo. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Beth Bearden; her parents, Ralph and Bonnie Bryan; and one brother, Carl Bryan. She is survived by her husband, Robert Kent Bearden of Plainview; one daughter, LaQueta Bearden White and husband Ron of Plainview; one son, Norman Bearden and wife Sheila of Amarillo; one brother, Dan Bryan and wife Karen of Gladstone, N.M.; three grandchildren, Ryan White of Lubbock, Galen Bearden of South Korea and Eric Bearden of Amarillo; and a special cousin, Irma Dean Murphy of Hereford.
