ABERNATHY ? Graveside services for Mary Virginia Barton, 73, of Lubbock, were at 10 a.m. today in Abernathy Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Brewer officiating.

Burial arrangements were by Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barton died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Lubbock Healthcare Center.

She was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Avoca. In 1972, she married Roy P. Barton in Lubbock.

Survivors include three sons, James Craigo of Louisiana Tommy Murry of Wyoming and Billy Jack Stone of Oklahoma; three stepdaughters, Twila Barton Clemmer and Stacy Prado both of Lubbock, and Patricia Harrell of Abernathy; a stepson, Rodney Barton of Irving; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
