Obituary

Adeline Martin Barnes, 91, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Prairie House Living Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Open visitation will be from noon. until 8 p.m.today, Feb. 22, at the funeral home. Adeline Martin Barnes was born on July 6, 1921, to Charlie and Anne Waller in Eola, Texas. She and Victor J. Martin were married in 1940. Victor preceded her in death in December 1982. Adeline married Gary Barnes of Plainview in 1989. Adeline is survived by two children, Victor "Tex" Martin, and Dolly Anna Jobe; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
