Obituary

Funeral services for Maudean "Dean" Barnes, 62, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Seventh Day Adventist Church with Clyde McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Mrs. Barnes died Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Plainview. She was born Aug. 2, 1939, in Leon Junction. She had lived in Wichita Falls before moving to Plainview in 1995. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. On April 12, 1979, she married Bob Barnes in Wichita Falls. He died May 10, 1984. Survivors include two sons, Howard Barnes of Wichita Falls and Robert Martin of Jacksonville, N.C.; one daughter, Beth Douglas of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, R.R. Brumbalow of Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., and Joe Ben Brumbalow of Pampa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Albert Lung of Plainview and Betty Jane and Don Follis of Amarillo; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggests memorials to VistaCare Family Hospice, 4418 Olton Road, Plainview, TX 79072.
