Obituary

Agnes Barbian Funeral services for Agnes Barbian, 94, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Boerger officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Barbian died Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, at Prairie House Living Center. She was born April 29, 1913, to Albert Bertelson and Clara Tergerson Bertelson in Hamilton County. She married Frank Barbian on Dec. 22, 1935, in Plainview. She was an LVN and worked at Plainview Hospital for many years. She was a member of LWML and the Halfway Food Co-op and a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Frank Jr., and Sue Barbian of Roswell, Ga., Cameron and Donna Barbian of Sherman, Ill., and David and Sheila Barbian of Dallas; three sisters, Eulalia Barbian of Kress, Anna Marie Cadra of Midland and Gwendolyn Faver of Plainview; one brother, Albert Bertelson of Claytonville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband; parents; one son, Donald Barbian; and one daughter, Connie Barbian, are deceased.
