Baker, Norma Nash

Lubbock ? Funeral Services for Norma Nash Baker, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church Bowman Chapel with the Rev. Keith Wiseman officiating.

Private burial will be in Plainview Cemetery in Plainview by Rix Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Baker died Monday, May 2, 2000, in Covenant Medical Center.

She was born March 8, 1929, in Plainview. She graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech.

She was an executive secretary for Life Underwriters Association, retiring in 1992. She was a member of first United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Matt Baker of Lubbock and Paul Baker of Dallas; a brother, Tom Nash of Richmond, VA; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials in her name to First United Methodist Church, 1411 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the church.
