Obituary

Memorial services for Garnet Charlotte Kinneer Baker, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Baker died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, at her residence. She was born to Clark Kinneer and Charlotte Brothers on Sept. 24, 1927, in Acme, Penn. She was a registered nurse since 1947 and went to work at Hale Center Hospital in 1948 as a surgical nurse. She worked as a school nurse from 1965-85. Survivors include a son, Nathaniel Thomas Baker IV of Spring; and two brothers, Clyde Kinneer and Gary Kinneer of Pennsylvania. Her parents; two brothers, Gerald Kinneer and Kenneth Kinneer; and three sisters are deceased. Memorials are suggested to the Soroptimist Club or the Happy Feet program.
