Obituary

EARTH - Funeral services for Will G. Bain, 61, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Earth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Hubbard, pastor, and the Rev. Bobby Broyles of Ballinger officiating.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Plainview Cemetery by Parson-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth.

Mr. Bain died Friday, May 23, 2003, in Amarillo.

He was born Jan. 26, 1942, in Plainview, and married Janet Moore on June 1, 1968, in Plainview.

He was a 1965 graduate of Sam Houston State University with an agribusiness degree. He worked as a banker for the Amarillo National Bank in Amarillo, the First National Bank in Claude and the First United Bank of Earth.

Mr. Bain was a member of the Earth United Methodist Church, on the board of the Senior Citizens of Earth and a member of the Earth Lions Club.

He also had served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Mr. Bain?s son-in-law, Clifton Pinnell, died in 1999.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shanna Pinnell of Plainview; two brothers, Ray Bain of Dimmitt and H.M. Bain of Plainview; his granddaughter, Lauren Kaye Pinnell of Plainview; three nieces and three nephews.

The family suggests memorials to Earth United Methodist Church, 303 W. First, Earth, TX 79031.
