Obituary

Peggy McGowen Baca, 57, of Plainview, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Colonial Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Malcolm officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
A visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015.
Peggy was born on March 11, 1957, to Richard and Gerene McGowen in Hereford, Texas. She graduated from Springlake-Earth High School in 1975. She worked as a secretary for many years. She loved to read and was a horse lover. She also loved to garden. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Montana Baca of Odessa, Texas; five siblings, Danny McGowen of Georgia, Ronnie McGowen of Plainview, Texas, Jolene Boone of South Carolina, Roy McGowen of Midland, Texas and Carolyn Hastey of Plainview, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
