Baca, Juan H.,Sr.
Funeral Mass for Juan H. Baca Sr., 76, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Tim Schwertner, pastor of St. Alice Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel.
Mr. Baca died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, in Deming N.M.
He was born July 22, 1921, in Fabens. He moved to Plainview in 1947 from Carlsbad, N.M., and worked for the city of Plainview in the street department.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Plainview; LULAC; the American Legion Post #5399; and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
On April 26, 1946, he married Josephine Molinar in Presidio.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Yolanda Garcia of Floydada and Olga Chapa of Deming; two sons, Sammy Baca and Juan ?Johnny? Baca Jr., both of Plainview; two brothers, Jesus Baca of Michigan, Wisc., and Fermin Baca of Lubbock; one sister, Savina B. Rodriquez of Big Spring; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
