Austin, Edward A.

ABERNATHY ? Graveside services for Edward Austin, 85, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Abernathy Cemetery with David Bennett of Abernathy Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Abell Funeral Home.

Mr. Austin died Thursday, April 8, 1999; in Lubbock.

He was born Aug.13, 1913 in Portland, Ore. He had lived in Abernathy since 1958 and had been an electrician.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

On Nov. 6, 1950, he married Rachel F. Bryant. She died Dec. 5, 1996.

Survivors include his brother, George Ransdale of Butte Falls, Ore.
