James Attebury ABERNATHY -- Graveside services for James Attebury, 89, of New Deal, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the Abernathy Cemetery with the Rev. Joel Perez officiating. The family gathered at Abell Funeral Home to receive friends from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17. Mr. Attebury died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas. Arrangements are by Abel Funeral Home of Abernathy.
