Armstrong, Raymond Ignatius, Mrs. (Elsie Reinken)

Elsie Reinken Armstrong, 86, a native of Plainview and a former member of Grace Presbyterian Church here, died in Michigan on Aug. 17, 2001.

Interment will be in Plainview.

Details concerning a memorial service have to be announced.

She was the daughter of the late Charles J. Reinken, a pioneer Plainview merchant, and Johanna Dalies Reinken.

Surviving include three children; James Arthur Armstrong of West Bloomfield, Mich.; Katherine Armstrong Ladd of Livonia, Mich.; and Mrs. Mark (Janet) Burke of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Kristin Ladd of Livonia, Mich.; a nephew, Charles M. Reinken of Omaha, Neb., and a niece, Janis J. Reinken of Austin.

Her husband, Raymond I. Armstrong, is deceased. A sister, Katherine M. Reinken; a twin brother, James H. Reinken; and brother, Charles Arthur Reinken, also are deceased. All were longtime Plainview residents.
