Obituary

Funeral Mass for Paula Armendariz, 56, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim McCartney officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Armendariz died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 3, 1952, in Levelland to Moses Armendariz and Juanita Esquivel. Survivors include one son, Santiago Gomez of Spur; one brother, Joe Armendariz of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Frances Perez of Kress, Rosa Armendariz of Mission and Guadalupe Gomez of Plainview; and her mother. Her father and a son, Juan Armendariz, are deceased.
