Visitation for James Allen Jr., 47, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bartley Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Allen died Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, in Fort Worth. He was born Aug. 25, 1963, in Plainview to James and Bennie Allen. Survivors include his mother, Bennie Jennings of Plainview; one son, Timothy Simons of Fort Worth; five brothers, Jerald Allen of Plainview, Dennis Allen and Ray Allen, both of Tulia, and Jammie Allen and Lynn Allen, both of Mt. Enterprise; one stepbrother, Edward Jennings of Plainview; five sisters, Wanda Allen of Plainview, Sharwin Allen of Amarillo, Vanessa Allen of Houston, Kanicie Allen of Waco and Bridget Allen of Tulia; four stepsisters, Mardie Jennings, Cynthia Jennings and Sandra Kay Jennings, all of Plainview, and Ruby Joyce Moore of Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
