Funeral services for Carmela Albarez, 35, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Ms. Albarez died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at her residence. She was born Aug. 31, 1974, in Gallup, N.M., to Carol Chavarria and Hilario Albarez. She was an agent with Exit Bail Bonds and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Zerek John Albarez of Plainview; her mother, Carol Chavarria of Plainview; her father, Hilario Albarez of Gallup, N.M.; and one brother, Dominic Albarez of North Richland Hills. Her grandparents, Vangie Tomac Abeyta, Carlos and Genovea Albarez and John Tomac Jr., are deceased. Online condolences may be made at [email protected]
