Alaniz, Francisco Ysauro Rodriguez, Mrs. (Juanita Flores)

Funeral Mass for Juanita Flores Alaniz, 91, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Bartley-Silva Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Alaniz died May 30, 2003, in Covenant Lakeside Lubbock.

She was born Feb. 8, 1912, in El Hondo, the daughter of Thomas and Jacinta Salazar Flores. She lived in Montana Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado and moved to Plainview in 1947 from Fort Lupton, Color..

She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

In 1947, she married Francisco Ysauro Alaniz Rodriguez. He is deceased.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Rodriguez and Josie Aguilar, both of Plainview; one son, Jose Borrego of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Sara Flores of Amarillo, Lucia Cortez of Dallas and Audelia Flores of California; and a brother, Thomas Flores Jr. of Corpus Christi.

A daughter, Marcella Rodriguez, is deceased.
