Obituary

Funeral Mass for Jorge Aguilera, 40, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Aguilera died Sunday, July 19, 2009, in Leander. He was born Feb. 7, 1969, in Tulia to Epifanio and Maria Navarro Aguilera. He graduated as valedictorian from Plainview High School and from the University of Texas. He was head of security for Securitas in Leander. He was a Catholic. Survivors include three brothers, Juan Aguilera of Plainview and Daniel Aguilera and Rafael Aguilera, both of Lubbock; his sister, Lucy Aguilera of Plainview; and his mother of Plainview. His father; brothers, Jorge Aguilera and Daniel Aguilera; and sister, Eva Aguilera, are deceased.
