Obituary

PLAINVIEW - Gilberto Aguero, 104, of Hobbs, N.M., formerly of Plainview, died Friday, Dec. 6, 1996.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Kasteel of the church officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.

Mr. Aguero was born in Eagle Pass and grew up in Uvalde. He lived in Plainview many years ago and moved to Hobbs in 1987. He was a farm laborer. He married Juana Gallegos Aguero at San Angelo. She died in 1984.

Survivors include two daughters, Deloris Ledesma of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Vivian Borgas of Plainview; a son, Gilberto Aguero Jr. of Hobbs; 18 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 42 great-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
