Obituary

Uncle J.T., or Uncle J, as I called him, was quite a guy! He was a sharp dresser and wore Western shirts and boots, and usually a silver belly hat. He was a short man,of slim build, and wore glasses. Aunt Ora was short also, and chunky. I spent a lot of time at their house as a child, as they lived only about a half mile from us close to Halfway, Tx. We kids walked to their house to get on the school bus from Plainview,Tx. I used to play Bobbie Jean's record player, and I remember well when the Beatles came to the USA because she had their records. We also played a lot of Elvis Presley, and I learned to do the "twist".
