Flores, Epifanio Ybarra,Jr.

Epifanio Ybarra Flores Jr., 49, of Plainview, went home to be with his heavenly Father who embraced him forever more on Sept. 3, 2016.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at Templo Sinai in Plainview with Rev. Hermilio Perez of Casa de Oraci?n officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Epifanio was born on April 12, 1967, in Tulia to Epifanio Flores Sr. and Esperanza Ybarra. He encountered many difficult times in his life but always faced them with a laugh. He was indeed a very jolly man. He enjoyed telling his stories and could keep a crowd laughing for hours. Epifanio was a very loving father to his children. He was an even greater grandfather to his grandchildren. He was their "Popo." Epifanio was a truck driver, for which he had great passion. He will be greatly missed by his huge family who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalinda Flores and his grandparents, Manuel and Rosa Ybarra.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Esperanza Ybarra Vaquera and stepfather, Arturo Vaquera of Plainview; two sons, Brian Keith Flores and wife Veronica of Denton and Daniel Elias Flores of Rio Grande, Texas; two daughters, Leah Sue Flores and Darline Flores Wences and husband Asuncion all of Denton; grandchildren Isaiah William Flores, Layla Ali, Saleem Ali Jr. Billy Joe Morales Jr., Destiny Ann Flores, Brian Epifanio Flores Jr., Daleah Brianna Wences and Baby Juelz Avalynn Wences. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
