Obituary

Funeral services for Eduardo "Eddie" Adame, 41, formerly of Kress, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Adame died Friday, July 28, 2006, in Mendota, Ill. He was born Dec. 31, 1964, in Raymondville to Catarino and Olga Adame. He married Tina Arredondo on Jan. 17, 1986, in Ottawa, Ill. He grew up in Kress and graduated from Kress High School in 1983. He moved to Mendota in 1986 where he worked as a lead crew leader for Bay Valley Foods. He was a member of Holy Cross Church in Mendota. Survivors include his wife; one stepdaughter, Monica Holguin; his mother; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Armando Adame Sr. of Kress and Catarino and Becky Adame of Plainview; one sister, Irene Adame of Kress; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Delia and Hector Arredondo; two stepgrandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. His father is deceased.
