Obituary

Saul Patiño, 56, of Plainview, departed this earthly world and entered heaven’s gates on January 2, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 5-7 p.m. at Bartley Memorial Chapel.

Saul was born to Jose David and Gregoria (Balli) Patiño on June 12, 1964 in Plainview, Texas. He received his GED at Plainview High School in 1983. Saul enjoyed solving puzzles especially seek and find. He had a love for football and his favorite team, The Dallas Cowboys.

He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; Jose David and Gregoria Patiño of Plainview, his paternal grandmother; Lorenza Saenz of Alice, Texas, brothers; Joe David San Miguel and wife, Esmeralda, of Hereford, Joe “Gilbert” Patiño of Plainview, Julian Carl Patiño, and a sister; Alice McDonald of Amarillo.

Saul was blessed with a host of nieces and nephews along with a large extended family whom he loved all dearly.
