Obituary

Annie Hill, 93, of Plainview, TX closed her eyes on earth and opened them in heaven on August 14, 2020.

Annie was born on December 24, 1926 to Joe Louis and Nettie Mae Huey in Houston, Texas. She married Denver Hill in Honey Grove, Texas in 1940. Annie worked for PISD as a cook for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her amazing pickles. Annie was the rock of her family and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Those left to cherish his memory are her sons; Elmer Hill of Plainview, Roscoe Hill of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Albert Hill and wife, Patricia, of Plainview, a special grandson; Elliot "Kirk" Heads-Hill, a brother; Billy Ray Huey of Ropesville, Texas , 19 grandchildren and an abundance of great and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Annie is preceded in death by her parents Joe Louis Huey and Nettie Mae Huey, brothers; Eddie Huey, J.W. Huey, C.H. Huey, Frank Huey Sr., Joe Louis Huey Jr., and a sister; Lillie Mae Huey Williams Thomas.
