Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Williams, 76, of Plainview, passed from this life and entered heaven on April 17, 2020. A private family graveside service will be held at Plainview Memorial Park on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Bartley Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born on July 9, 1943 to Arthur Lee and Mildred (Jones) Williams in Saint Louis, MO. Kenneth worked at Pioneer Seed for many years and later retired from PISD maintenance department who took great care of the field house. He was known for his big and kind heart. He enjoyed his coffee group at McDonalds and family gatherings. He was a huge sports fan who never missed a Cowboys game. He also enjoyed playing golf, dominos, and 42. You probably saw Kenneth cruising around all of the South Plains in his spare time.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Bill Williams of New York, Jerry Williams of Tennessee, Terry Carter and his wife, Bobbie, of Canyon, Texas, and Troy Welch of Plainview, Texas. He was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee and Mildred (Jones) Williams, a stepmother; Maeclair Williams and a sister; Judith Carter.
