Obituary

David G. Aguilar, 60, of Plainview, passed from this life on January 3, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held at Abundant Grace Church of Plainview on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11 am. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Bartley Funeral Home. A private family burial of cremains will take place at a later date

He was born to Julio Aguilar Sr. and Sara Guerrero Aguilar on January 20, 1959 in Knox City, Texas. David was known as the life of the party. He was always making the ones around him laugh. He was known as the jokester. He was a proud handyman who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed fishing with his oldest brother and was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all he loved children, especially his nieces and nephews who he loved like they were his own. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are brothers; Frank Aguilar and wife, Juanita, of Denton, Jesse Aguilar Sr., of Plainview, Robert Aguilar and wife, Delia, of Denton, and Luis Aguilar, of Plainview, sisters; Connie Plasencio of Plainview, Sara Rivera and husband, Rogelio Sr., of Plainview, Delia Larralde and husband, Pete Sr., of Plainview, and Sylvia Sauceda of Plainview. He was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly

David is preceded in death by his parents; Julio Aguilar Sr. and Sara Guerrero Aguilar and brothers; Jose Aguilar and Julio Aguilar Jr.
