Obituary

Peggy Lee Norris, 71 better known as Nonnie to all who loved her, left this earth to be with our heavenly Father on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Saint Alice Catholic Church with Father Jeremy Trull officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the funeral home.

Peggy was born January 19, 1951 in Casa Grande, Arizona to Fitzhugh & Esther Killian Holmes. She married Larry Joe Norris on April 11, 1967 in Casa Grande. Peggy was an amazing home health nurse in Plainview and the surrounding communities for over 30 years. She had a passion for caring for other people, but her true devotion was caring for her family, especially her grandkids, spending time in her “Happy Place” in Ruidoso, New Mexico and trips and gatherings with her sisters, AKA “The Yaya’s”.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Norris of Halfway; daughters Becky & David Steffens of Plainview, Lynn & James Williams of Abernathy; Tricia Norris of Plainview; Lisa & Gene Pryor of The Colonies and Tina Norris of Arlington. Grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Alyssa Norris, Kayla Steffens, Sean Steffens, Cameron Pryor, Caressa Jones, Lance Little, Hayden Gonzales, Rylee Gonzales; Great grandson Knox Barr; sisters Janice Holmes and Barbara Ashcraft of Hereford, Tx and one brother Mike and Sharon Holmes of Casa Grande, AZ.
