Jacob Salas Tijerina, 40 of Amarillo, passed away on February 19, 2022. A viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Jacob was born on March 6, 1981, in Lockney, Texas. He was a successful Tattoo shop owner of Modern Day Martyrs in Amarillo and a Tattoo Artist. He enjoyed art, drawing, the outdoors, gold panning, investing in stocks and gambling in Las Vegas.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Rudeika JoAnn Bowen of Amarillo; two sons, Jacob Nathanielle Tijerina of Plainview and Nolan Kane Tijerina of Levelland; one daughter, Jaclyn Nicole Tijerina and Cesar Cienfuegos of Lockney; his bonus children, Jack and Jillian Bowen and Audie King; his mother, Rosalie and Oscar Longoria of Plainview; his father, Robert, Jr. and Tammy Ceniseros of Odessa; two brothers, Robert Phillip and April Ceniseros of Plainview and John Patrick Ceniseros of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mona Lee and Larry Gloria and Brandi Rose Ceniseros both of Plainview; maternal grandparents, Jose and Ramona Moreno of Plainview; paternal grandmother, Terry Ceniseros of Tahoka; numerous aunts, uncles, thirteen nieces and nephews and lots of cousins that loved him very much.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert Ceniseros, Sr., Jose and Otilia Tijerina; his aunt, JoAnn Moreno, an uncle, Angel Ramos; and two cousins Rene Ochoa, Jr.; Benny Rodriguez.

Because Jacob was an organ donor, five lives were saved. Jacob will be missed.
