Obituary
Monica Rubio, whose name means “Truth”, was born on April 1, 1992, to Liza Jimenez and Jose Luis Rubio in Lockney, Texas. She was the true definition of beauty and perfection. Monica was raised, along with her two siblings, Yvette, and Rene Rubio. by her beloved Grandmother, Natalia V. Rubio, whom she loved with all her heart.
On March 3, 2022, at 2:13pm, at the age of 29, Monica entered the Gates of Heaven full of peace and serenity. Regardless of her struggles here on earth, Monica touched many lives with her smile, her loving heart and by always helping others in need. She loved to cook, listen to music, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. What she loved and adored the most in her life were her six children. She would do anything to see them happy and she never stopped loving them.
Monica leaves behind her six loving children: Jordyn Robert (age 11), Ivan Drake (age 10), Fayth Alazey (age 8), Destiny Nevaeh (age 6), Landon Alexander Valdez (age 5), Kevin Rene Rubio (age 4) and the love of her life, Jacob Michael Navarro.
Monica is also survived by her mother, Liza Jimenez Peoples; her father, Jose L. Rubio; her sister, Yvette Rubio and her six children, Aniyah, Joshua, Kane, Katalella, Maddison and Aydn Martinez; her brother, Rene Rubio and his five sons, Loky, Niccolo, Darius, Keeno, and Xavier Rubio; her great-nephew, James Joshua Martinez, as well as many family members.
The family of Ms. Rubio will have a Prayer Service, Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 6pm-8pm and a Funeral Service on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11am in Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
