Obituary

Cassandra Gonzales, age 26, of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Rev. Arnold Vasquez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Cassandra was born on February 25, 1996, in Lubbock, Texas to Felipa Flores and Pedro Gonzales. She attended schools in Plainview and graduated from Moody High School. Cassandra was sweet and loving and adored her nieces and nephews. She loved hanging out with friends and meeting new people. She loved making people laugh and being silly. She left a mark on those that loved her and will forever be missed and loved.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Felipa and father, Pedro; her three children, Julian Jr., Mathew Rudy, and Jaylie Joanna Breanna; her brother, Abraham Moreno; her maternal grandmother, Maria Soto; and her paternal grandmother, Santos Gonzales.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Crystal Magana; her nephews, Sean Magana Jr, Caden Magana, and Liam Magana; her brother, Pedro (Ruth) Gonzalez, Jr.; her nieces, Samantha Cruz and Bella Cruz all of Moody, Texas; her sister, Destinee Flores; her niece, Sophia Grace Islas both of Copperas Cove, Texas; her aunt and uncle, Anna and Lucio Vasquez; her cousins, Lucinda and Ralph Garcia, Nellie Marmolejo, and Lucio and Mayra Vasquez, all of Plainview; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
